700 meters of Fiberglass grating along the Atlantic Road
Around the beautiful Eldhusøya on Møre you can now find a promenade equipped with fiberglass gratings. Glassfiber Produkter has delivered approximately 700 meters of gratings, 32 benches plus other fiberglass profiles for the walkway.
"The Floating Path"
The beautiful scenery along the Atlantic Road makes drivers want to stop and enjoy the scenery, but the road's few stopping points and narrow bridges can make it dangerous. The new walking promenade gives tourists the opportunity to park and take a round trip with beautiful scenery on all sides.
The walkway meanders smoothly through the landscape and has already been referred to as the “floating path”. The gratings form a solid and accessible path that can be used by pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchairs and walkers. You can follow the path around the entire island, close to the water’s edge. The fiberglass has properties that make it perfect for such surroundings. The material is corrosion-free and will withstand the elements of nature.
The focus is on attractions along national tourist routes with the goal of showcasing Norwegian nature. There must be high visual quality at viewpoints and picnic areas, something Glassfiber Produkter is proud to deliver.
