An anniversary worth celebrating!
This year marks 25 years since Elling Stangeland started Glassfiber Produkter AS. What began as a small start-up with big ambitions in 2000 has grown into a solid player in fiberglass and composites. The journey has been characterized by innovation, drive and a rock-solid belief in quality.
Who we are
We at Glassfiber Produkter AS are specialists in composites and glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) products and deliver first-class solutions to customers in oil and gas, railways, fish farming, the public sector and industry.
In our modern premises in Øksnavad, we have a committed team that combines expertise and experience with the ability to find solutions. We assist customers with everything from design and engineering to production and installation. – and we are always ready for new challenges.
Our history
When Elling started the company in 2000, the target group was the oil and gas industry, with a focus on subsea piping systems and protection solutions. The range quickly expanded to include gratings, structures and a range of other fiberglass products.
What started with two people has now become a solid team of 18 permanent employees and 2 apprentices – all with broad expertise. In 2014, we took a big step forward when we established our own workshop. This enabled us to manufacture and assemble everything ourselves, and marked an important milestone in our development. Four years later, we had our first technical draftsman in place. This opened the door to offering complete solutions – from design and production to installation and engineering.
In 2020, we moved into new and modern premises in Øksnavad. For the first time, we had offices, workshop and warehouse all under one roof. It was a turning point for the company and gave us a boost that has strengthened our position in the market.

Generational change – a new leader takes the baton forward
After 25 years of management, growth and development, Elling is now handing over the role of CEO to his son, Magnar StangelandWhich marks a natural and important shift for Glassfiber Produkter AS.
Magnar has been an important part of the team for many years and knows the business inside out. With solid experience, professional expertise and great commitment to taking the company forward, he is well prepared to lead us into a new era.

New logo
A symbol of the way forward
An anniversary is also a great opportunity for renewal. That's why we are now launching our new logo – a visual symbol of both our history and the path forward.
The logo is inspired by the lines and patterns of fiberglass products. The shape is based on the material's structure – layers upon layers of structure and strength – and clearly reflects what we stand for and deliver.
The design expresses precision, flexibility and strength. It is modern and technical, but at the same time clean and easy to recognize. The logo works well in both small and large formats – digitally and in print – and gives us a coherent and clear external expression.
