200m² with Offshore Grating (SGP article 15513) and various sizes of Protection sleeves for grating penetrations have been delivered to Hitec Products AS its – Johan Sverdrup project
Offshore Grating (Article 15513) is tested and qualified specifically for the Norwegian continental shelf. The grating is manufactured with phenolic as a binder, UV-coated top layer and has sufficient electrical conductivity to avoid static build-up. This grating is manufactured with a raw material called Carbon Black, which gives the grating conductivity - competing gratings are often only coated with conductive material.
Article 15513 is tested and qualified according to US Coastguard requirements and EN 13463-1-2001 “Non- electrical equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres per EN 50014:199″. The product has a type approval from DNV-GL.
