The stair module project included design, calculation, fabrication and installation in a full-profile drilled cable shaft with a diameter of 2.6 m, length of 164 m and an inclination of 44 degrees.

Stair modules with cable support solution consist of a total of 28 prefabricated modules. The modules are assembled from fiberglass profiles and lattice steps which were then bolted to the tunnel walls/floor with steel brackets.

For cable routing, 3 cable ladders with a width of 600 mm and 1 with a width of 400 mm were installed. Furthermore, extra fire protection has been added for cables and gratings for extra protection against falling rocks from the tunnel roof.
