Det finnes mange ulike typer harpikser som brukes i produksjonen av kompositter. I byggebransjen benytter ofte metaller som reagerer med oksygen, vann og andre kjemiske elementer. Dette f\u00f8rer til dannelsen av oksider eller andre forbindelser \u2013 en prosess vi kjenner som korrosjon. Oksygen er alltid til stede i omgivelsene v\u00e5re, noe som gj\u00f8r at korrosjonsprosessen i praksis alltid p\u00e5g\u00e5r, selv om den ofte skjer sv\u00e6rt langsomt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Den naturlige reaksjonen mellom metall og oksygen er som regel ikke et stort problem i seg selv. Det finnes imidlertid flere faktorer som kan akselerere korrosjonen betydelig. Vann spiller en sentral rolle ved \u00e5 omdanne reaksjonen til en raskere elektrokjemisk prosess. Ved \u00e5 vurdere de elektrokjemiske forholdene mellom forskjellige metaller, kan vi utforme strukturer og systemer som unng\u00e5r galvanisk korrosjon, noe som sikrer lang levetid og strukturell integritet. Galvanisk korrosjon kan ogs\u00e5 forbig\u00e5s ved hjelp av et ikke-korrosivt materiale. Man kan for eksempel plassere et materiale som gummi eller plastikk mellom to metaller for \u00e5 isolere dem, og for \u00e5 unng\u00e5 noe form for kontakt og dermed reaksjoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Galvanisk korrosjon<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En annen vurdering \u00e5 tenke p\u00e5 i forhold til korrosjon er galvanisk korrosjon. Dette skjer n\u00e5r to forskjellige typer metaller ber\u00f8rer hverandre i n\u00e6rv\u00e6r av noe v\u00e5tt, som vann, som f\u00e5r ett av metallene til \u00e5 korrodere raskere enn det ville gjort p\u00e5 egen h\u00e5nd. Dette skyldes at hvert metall har sitt eget \u2018elektriske potensial\u2019, en naturlig tendens til enten \u00e5 miste eller f\u00e5 elektroner. L\u00f8sningen er basert p\u00e5 st\u00f8pte gitterrister med p\u00e5limt plate p\u00e5 den ene siden og med d\u00f8rk-\/t\u00e5replate- m\u00f8nster som gir en sklisikker overflate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Oppbygning av tette ristdekker<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Til tette ristdekker benyttes artikkel nr. 15039 (gr\u00e5 farge) eller 15040 (gul farge) med standard platest\u00f8rrelse 1,22 \u00d7 3,66 m og h\u00f8yde 38 mm. Platene kappes til p\u00e5 m\u00e5l og plasseres inntil hverandre under montasje med en spalte mellom platene p\u00e5 3\u20135 mm. Glassfiber er enkelt \u00e5 bearbeide p\u00e5 monteringsstedet med h\u00e5ndverkt\u00f8y som sirkelsag, vinkelsliper, stikksag eller hullsag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bruksomr\u00e5der i praksis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glassfiber ristdekker benyttes hvor utstyr og instrumenter plassert p\u00e5 undersiden av plattform eller mesanin skal beskyttes mot mulig spill fra overliggende dekke.
