Kvitladalen is one of the best preserved mountain valleys in Rogaland, and a popular hiking destination for both locals and visitors. The hike starts from Bjordal and follows the Kvitlaåna River into the valley towards Kvitlen. Along the way, you pass through varied terrain with birch forests, open areas and areas that bear the mark of previous settlements and farming. 

Several measures have been established along the route to make traffic easier and safer. In this context, Glassfiber Produkter AS has supplied gratings that are used for a suspension bridge over the river. This provides a stable and safe crossing, even with varying water flows.

Fiberglass gratings are well suited for this type of application, with low weight, high strength and good resistance to moisture and weathering. The solution requires minimal maintenance and has a long lifespan, making it practical for use in areas with limited accessibility.
