Who we are

We are Glassfiber Produkter AS – we make it easier with fiberglass. Since 2000, we have specialized in composites and fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP), and have delivered durable fiberglass products to oil and gas, railways, fish farming, the public sector and other industries.

You will find us in new premises at Øksnavad, where a group of skilled and committed employees take ownership of your project – from idea to finished solution – and make your challenge a little easier to solve.

It’s about a material that literally weighs less, about one supplier who follows you from the drawing board to the fully installed solution, and about a team that responds when you need us. Design

We offer design of fiberglass structures, and our designers are also masters at turning ideas into solid product solutions.

Production

We build what you need, whether it's finished products or parts of a larger project. Whatever the customer wants, we can fix it.

In addition, our CNC machine can process fiberglass, plastic, wood and similar materials, allowing us to adapt our product solutions to our customers' needs.

Installation

Fiberglass Products can also assist with the installation of structures. Because we have extensive experience, we can contribute to an efficient, fast and safe installation.

Our history

2000 - Establishment

Glassfiber Produkter AS was established in 2000 by Elling Stangeland, with the goal of selling and marketing fiberglass products to the oil and gas industry. It all started with the sale of pipe systems and fiberglass protection to the subsea market, before the range was gradually expanded to include gratings, fiberglass structures and customized products.

2014 - Own workshop

From the start with two employees, the team has grown steadily, and therefore in 2014 we got our own workshop, which made it possible to produce and assemble our own solutions.

2025 - Generational change and new logo

Magnar Stangeland took over as CEO from his father Elling, who remains close as a strategic advisor. At the same time, we launched a new logo with a lighter, more airy expression - inspired by the lines and low weight of our fiberglass products: layer upon layer of structure and strength.

2018 - First technical draftsman

In 2018, we got our first technical draftsman, allowing us to offer our customers a complete package within design, engineering, production and installation.

2020 - new construction and revitalization

In 2020, we moved into new premises in Øksnavad, where the office, workshop and warehouse were brought together under one roof. At the same time, we carried out a full revitalization of the company, with a renewed focus on quality, innovation and sustainable solutions in fiberglass.
