Grating item 15050 – Specifications

Grating article 15050 is a composite grating in fiberglass with a coarse-mesh 51×51 mm pattern and a full 51 mm height – the strongest and most open variant in the series. The surface has finely divided silica sand in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

Because the mesh width is so coarse, the grating provides maximum drainage and air flow, with an open area of 69 %. Combined with a 51 mm height, it can therefore withstand very high loads, making it well suited for platforms, decks and walkways with large spans or heavy loads.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, and it thus achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread below 25. It has insulating electrical properties and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, making it well suited for demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

We deliver the grating in standard panel size 1219 x 3658 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
