Grating article 15002 – Specifications

Grating article 15002 is a molded fiberglass grating with a square 38×38 mm mesh, 12 mm height and a ground/flat surface in yellow (RAL 1003). The grating is manufactured from vinyl ester, a type of resin that provides extra good resistance to chemicals and corrosion – well suited for demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas, fish farming and water and wastewater plants.

Weighing only 6.1 kg/m², the grating is significantly lighter than its steel counterpart, and the open area of 68 % provides good drainage and air flow. The yellow colour makes the grating highly visible, which is an advantage in areas where clear safety marking is required.
