Grating article 15020 – Specifications

Grating article 15020 is a molded fiberglass grating with a square 38×38 mm mesh and 25 mm height. The surface consists of finely divided silica sand in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments. Because the grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, it also achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread of less than 25. This makes it well suited for demanding industrial environments, such as oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

Since the grating is 25 mm high, it can also withstand higher loads than the thinner variants. Therefore, it is well suited for walkways, platforms and other areas where both strength and slip resistance are important. In addition, the grating has insulating electrical properties, and at the same time it can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C.
