Grating article 15021 – Specifications

Grating article 15021 is a molded fiberglass grating with a square 38×38 mm mesh and 25 mm height. The surface has a U-shaped concave pattern in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

Because the grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, it achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread of less than 25. Therefore, it is well suited for demanding industrial environments, including oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

Since the grating is 25 mm high, it can withstand higher loads than the thinner versions. This makes it well suited for walkways, platforms and other areas where strength and anti-slip properties are important.

In addition, the grating has insulating electrical properties, and at the same time it can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C. However, it is also supplied in a standard panel size of 1219 x 3658 mm, and can be cut to the desired size.
