Grating article 15023 – Specifications

Grating article 15023 is a composite fiberglass grating with a square 38×38 mm mesh and 25 mm height. The surface has a U-shaped concave pattern in black (RAL 9004), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

Unlike most of our gratings, this variant is electrically conductive and is therefore approved for use in hazardous areas according to EN 13463-1 and EN 50014. Because the grating dissipates static electricity instead of insulating, it is particularly suitable for oil and gas, chemical industries and other ATEX-classified areas.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as its raw material, and therefore achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread below 25. The grating can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, and with a height of 25 mm, it can also withstand higher loads than the thinner variants.

We deliver the grating in standard panel size 1220 x 3658 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
