Grating item 15052 – Specifications

Grating article 15052 is a composite fiberglass grating with a coarse-mesh 51×51 mm pattern and a full 51 mm height – one of the strongest and most open variants in the series. The surface has a U-shaped concave pattern in blue (RAL 5015), which provides good slip resistance and at the same time makes the grating highly visible – useful where color coding or safety marking is desired.

Because the mesh width is so coarse, the grating provides maximum drainage and air flow, with an open area of 69 %. Combined with a 51 mm height, it can therefore withstand very high loads, making it well suited for platforms, decks and walkways with large spans or heavy loads.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, and it thus achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread below 25. It has insulating electrical properties and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, making it well suited for demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

We deliver the grating in standard panel size 1219 x 3658 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
