Grating article 15055 – Specifications

Grating article 15055 is a composite fiberglass grating with a coarse-mesh 51×51 mm pattern and a full 51 mm height – one of the strongest and most open variants in the series. The surface has a U-shaped concave pattern in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

Because the mesh width is so coarse, the grating provides maximum drainage and air flow, with an open area of 69 %. Combined with a 51 mm height, it can therefore withstand very high loads, making it well suited for platforms, decks and walkways with large spans or heavy loads.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, and it thus achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread below 25. It has insulating electrical properties and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, making it well suited for demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

We deliver the grating in standard panel size 1219 x 3658 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
