Grating item 15540 – Specifications

Grating article 15540 is a durable grating in composite/fiberglass, composed of longitudinal profiles with a height of 64 mm – significantly stronger than our walkway-adapted gratings. The surface has finely divided silica sand in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

With a narrow opening of 10.2 mm between the profiles, the grating is well suited for vehicle traffic, as wheels and narrow objects do not get caught in the gaps. Combined with the high height, this results in a grating that can withstand significantly higher point loads than standard walkway gratings, making it suitable for driving surfaces, ramps and areas with frequent vehicle traffic.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, and therefore achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread of less than 25. It has insulating electrical properties and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C.

We deliver the grating in panel size 1000 x 3000 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
