Grating article 15001 – Specifications

Grating article 15001 is a molded fiberglass grating with a square 38×38 mm mesh, 12 mm height and polished/smooth surface in gray RAL 7001. The gratings are manufactured in isophthalic polyester and are classified in fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread below 25 - well suited for demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas, fish farming and electric power.

Weighing just 6.1 kg/m², the grating is significantly lighter than its steel counterpart, while withstanding operating temperatures from -40 to +60 °C and having insulating electrical properties. This makes it ideal for applications where corrosion, weight and electrical safety are crucial factors.
