Grating article 15510 – Specifications

Grating article 15510 is a profile-based grating in composite/fiberglass, composed of longitudinal I-profiles with a height of 38 mm and a gap of 19 mm between the profiles. The surface has finely divided silica sand in gray (RAL 7001), which provides good slip resistance even in wet or oily environments.

Unlike our cast gratings, which have equal strength in both directions, profile-based gratings are particularly strong along the profile direction. This makes them well suited where high load-bearing capacity is required over longer spans, such as walkways and platforms in industry, oil and gas, or fish farming.

The grating has isophthalic polyester as a raw material, and therefore achieves fire class 1 (ASTM E84-05) with a flame spread of less than 25. It has insulating electrical properties and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C.

We deliver the grating in panel size 1000 x 6000 mm, but can also cut it to the desired size.
